Banco Sabadell

Two financing options are available through Banco Sabadell: 1) A 5% interest rate for a max of €8,000. This loan must be paid within 10 months in monthly installments. 2) A 0% interest rate for a max €3,000. This loan must be paid within 10 months in monthly installments.

Ironhack’s income share agreements

Pay nothing until you land a job! We are committed to your success, which is why we have teamed up with StudentFinance to offer you the new income sharing agreements. This pay-for-success financing model gives you access to education funding in exchange for a fixed percentage of your post-graduation income over a set period of time. You won’t pay anything until you land a job, and your rate will be based on what you make! Keep in mind that this financing option has a limited number of spots per course and it's only available once you've completed the admissions process. Conditions for this option are based on your motivation as well as the results of your technical assessment.

Income Share Agreements

During your studies, CHANCEN eG takes care of your full tuition fee (incl. deposit). With the help of the income share agreement you do not pay anything until you landed your dream tech job. When you graduate and start working, income based repayments are made to CHANCEN eG over a 5 year period. Should your annual income be less than 27,000 Euros, repayments are not required. Your repayment is then shifted to a period when you earn above the minimum income threshold. Available only for people from the following Nationalities who are currently residing in Germany: European Union Citizens, Lichtenstein, Switzerland, Norway, UK, Iceland, Monaco, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel.

You can pay straight to Ironhack in 3 monthly instalments (full-time course) or in 6 monthly instalments (part-time course) without any additional charges nor interest involved

After the personal interview, you will need to pass a Cybersecurity technical assessment to show that you are ready for our fast-paced learning environment.

Deposit and prework

Once you have completed the technical assessment and paid the deposit, you will be granted access to the prework. The prework is fundamental to the Cybersecurity program, and you must complete it before starting the course in Madrid.

Course Information

A typical day at Ironhack Madrid

The day begins with a lecture and demonstration from the Lead Teacher, who is a cyber security expert. Once the lecture and demonstration is complete, students will spend the remainder of the class working through the material in the LMS (Learning Management System) with the help and support of TAs and fellow students. The LMS material is dynamic, hands-on and enaging. Each day will be a little different and full of practical challenges. There are videos, quizzes, games, and simulations in which they will learn to hack and defend real Linux and Windows systems.

Why should you study Cybersecurity in Madrid

Cybersecurity investment growing nationallyCompanies and governments around the world are investing in cybersecurity, a trend that has made the investment in this Industry skyrocket. Specifically, in Spain and according to the International Data Corporation (IDC) the national investment will grow 5,8% from 2019 to 2022, with a spending forecast of 1381 billion euros in this Industry for 2020. Around the whole tech industry, cybersecurity services will be the ones growing more, with around a 27% expected increase from 2019 to 2022.

A promising national landscape in cybersecurityNationally there are several hubs that prove and gather some of the most successful professionals and companies in Spain, like the Vasque Country with Cybasque. On top of that, the government has just approved the creation of a cybersecurity hub powered by INCIBE, the national institute of cybersecurity in Spain. By 2050, this project will look to have around 20.000 specialists in cybersecurity, AI, and Data.

Professionals on the hunt!Nowadays, two-thirds of Spanish companies are lacking qualified professionals in cybersecurity fighting against the threats of cyberattacks. By 2021, Europe will be needing around 350.000 professionals in this industry according to Google research on the Spanish Cybersecurity landscape.
