Take the first steps of your UX/UI Design journey by learning the basics of design thinking, interaction design and state-of-the-art design software. After setting up your tools and completing the introductory exercises, you’ll be ready to hit the ground running during bootcamp. During prework, you will create your first usability evaluation and site redesign, as well as develop your design sensitivity in a number of engaging activities. You will also be introduced to the basics of HTML and CSS, which is an essential foundation for the bootcamp’s design implementation section.

He started his career in advertising industry working for DDB Brasil and tech companies like Buscapé, the largest comparison shopping in Brazil.
MiamiNevan is an interaction designer, typographer, and teacher. He has developed digital products for New York University, Swiss Red Cross, Hoefler&Co., Buzzfeed, and Northeastern University. He writes occasionally at notated.org.
BarcelonaEdu is a Visual Designer with a Masters Degree in Interaction Design and a Ph.D in Engineering. He has more than 15 years of experience working on different experience design projects both for public and private organizations. His main area of interest is the iterative design process based on research. He has been a teacher for 10 years now, has designed and managed courses and academic projects for different universities, and has given talks and conferences in various cities around the world.
BarcelonaMulti-versed in the design field from photography and multimedia to visual design and UX design, Jerome has worked as a senior designer, teacher and coach for leading agencies, companies and regular university education before joining Ironhack to lead the UX/UI teaching pathway. Passionate about languages and culture he is fully dedicated to initiating and supporting the creative learning process into a world of concrete discovery.
BerlinRita is UX/UI Designer with a background in illustration and graphic design. She has illustrated 8 books and designed many more, while also working as a freelance illustrator and designer. Even though she’s always been the creative type, she always missed a method to her madness, which she found through design methodologies and tools. On her free time you’ll probably find her designing apps that no one needs, for fun.
LisbonDaniela is an UX Designer with a background in Product Design. She found on design methodologies the perfect intersection between creative and analytical thinking. She is passionate about learning and developing everyone’s potential through knowledge and education. Over the last 8 years, she co-founded a startup focused in Tech Education, managed Marketing and Growth teams, and, as a specialist in human-centered solutions, she developed projects based on innovation.
Sao PauloAs a graphic designer, information design master and web programmer, Gerardo has more than five years of experience teaching subjects related to design, visual arts, new technologies and their practical applications. He also has more than eleven years of work experience creating solutions that connect his clients with the users of his products through graphic design, UI and software.
Mexico CityGhita (pronouced Rita) is passionate about user-centeric design,teaching, and running. She is currently the head of the Design Lab @Enedis by day, and also a lead Instructor @Ironhack where she teaches UX Research and Design
ParisJeremie is a user experience designer based in Paris, France. His work combines a background in art, graphic design and code, with new technology and user-centered design thinking. He graduated from the Beaux-Arts School and has worked for many years in Canada, including at the country’s largest railway company, where he was responsible for designing mobile apps, facilitating workshops for design and research, and launching the user-testing practice. He joined Ironhack to share his passion and experience in user-centered design and building interfaces.
ParisEmerson works with UX since 2006. He's led projects for companies such as Natura, Itaú, Microsoft, and HBO. He was responsible for the launch UX for Sofisa Direto, Guiabolso, and Original bank. He spoke at key industry conferences: UXPA International, UX-Lx, IA Conference, WUD, and ILA. He's currently UX Manager at Superbid, and lead teacher at Ironhack's UX/UI part-time course. Fun fact: one, on a holiday trip to La Paz, Bolívia, I was following Google maps while walking and... I ended up in the middle of their Carnaval parade. So I walked one block in the middle of the paraders and managed to get back on my way.
