Our financing options at Ironhack

Do you need help with the payment? Our financing options help you find the support you need so you can focus on your career and developing new skills.

Contract of Professional Security (CSP)

This financing option is available for people who lost their job due to a lay off. It fully funds the program and it’s available for all Ironhack’s bootcamps, though you may need additional approval if the course is not yet certified by the RNCP.

Pôle emploi

Available for unemployed candidates. Pôle Emploi helps in finding a job and providing financial aid for training. The AIF is not automatic, approval from your counselor for this funding is needed.

OPCO (Opérateurs de Compétence)

Funding with no cap available for active employees. Subsidies are awarded on a sliding scale depending on each specific situation and typically range between €2,000 and €6,000.

Pledg

In partnership with Pledg, our students can pay in 3, 6, or 10 monthly installments, whether it be for our full-time or part-time bootcamps. The net tuition, after payment of the deposit and any third-party financing, can be divided into monthly automatic payments via bank card on the Pledg platform. For the payment in 3, 6 and 10 installments, the fees are 1.5%, 4.6% and 6.7% of the total balance applied to the first payment.

BNP Paribas

Exclusive student loan from 760€ to 75,000€ with a global fixed annual interest rate of 0.98% over a period of 4 to 96 months. Repayments are deferred for the first year, and there is no fee for an early payoff of the loan. 80€ welcome offer for new clients and a no-fee account for the first two years.

Professional Transition

Professional Transition Employees who want to change careers can request a Professional Transition Project (PTP), which can finance up to the total cost of the bootcamp.

AGEFICE or FIF PL

This financing option is available for freelancers and entrepreneurs. AGEFICE can partially finance your professional training, and FIF PL is best for independent workers.

CPF (Compte personnel de formation)

Available for the Web Development program. The public funding CPF can finance a part of your program if you have an account and have accumulated credit (500€ per year worked). The aide ranges from 200€ to 5000€

Course Information

A typical day at Ironhack Paris

In the course-ux-ui-design-campus part-time course, you will study on weekdays from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday, depending on the campus and cohort) and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The schedule may be subject to changes depending on the chosen campus.

Monday to Friday

9:00

Start your day energized

Start things off energized with a fresh cup of coffee before we review and discuss yesterday’s exercises. Learn to manage your time and stay productive through the key strategies of Agile and Kanban.

9:30

Lecture block 1

Discover some fresh ideas in the first lecture block! During the project weeks, you will use this time working on developing a UX/UI project all on your own, where you’ll apply the design concepts you’ve learned in previous lectures.

11:30

Group exercise and feedback sessions

Develop a project based on a brief in small groups. Implement all of the design concepts you learned in the previous lecture block, then receive feedback from your group. The lead Teacher and teaching assistants will assess and give advice on how to move your work forward.

13:00

Lunch

Time for a well-earned break! Our campus is centrally located, so there’s a multitude of great food options nearby.

14:00

Lecture block 2

Continue working on your UX/UI project and designs. Afternoon lectures build upon what you’ve learned so far with yet another set of design skills and UX/UI techniques.

16:00

Individual project

Create your own UX/UI project! First find a problem and then solve it by designing an original app through which you can apply the UX/UI course’s concepts. When each project day comes to an end, you can showcase your achievements to the class. This is a key part of the course, as every designer is, in essence, a communicator!

18:00

After-course events

is a remarkable city for designers! Lose yourself in meetups, networking sessions and workshops, or remain on campus to catch up on your work.

Why should you study UX/UI Design in Paris

High demand for designersWithin Paris’ immense tech scene is an active and thriving UX/UI community. In turn, a growing number of medium and large tech companies in France are incorporating design departments. These companies are allowing designers more leeway in their process, which points to a culture of trust between companies, designers and investors across Paris’ tech industry. And recent funding into Europe’s largest startup incubators means an interest in designers will only increase. Paris needs more designers to fill this demand.
Inclusive UX/UI meetupsWhile many cities boast excellent UX communities and meetups, Paris has a particularly inclusive atmosphere when it comes to designer gatherings and coworking spaces. HexagonUX is an excellent example: this international non-profit organization focuses on community events and mentorship programs to empower women and non-binary people in UX/UI.
Collaborative conferencesParis’ UX/UI ecosystem is incredibly collaborative, with the majority of the work in this field revolving around companies organizing sprint sessions and collaborative work groups. This means that Paris’ UX/UI events are particularly important for the development of new ideas and products. One such event is UX Days, featuring two days of workshops and conferences dedicated to the user experience. The event has grown in recent years and become a mainstay of the community, bringing in professionals both from within the field and from beyond it.

What sets Paris apart?

For centuries, Paris has been perhaps the largest European center for the arts, science, fashion and finance. Renowned for its numerous museums and architectural landmarks, the City of Lights was the second most visited city in the world in 2019.
More than a lifetime’s worth of experiences await you just beyond the doors of our campus. Take a walk and visit the Musée du Louvre, Paris’ innumerable municipal parks and gardens, or one of its many patisseries and Michelin-star restaurants.
At Ironhack we believe the wonders of Paris speak for themselves – there’s almost no reason not to come start your future here.
