In just 50 hours, our platform’s prep materials will guide you through the fundamentals of programming with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Set up your web development environment on your computer, and learn to easily communicate with our expert teacher’s assistants via email or Slack. Once you’ve finished the prework you will have:
1. developed the skills to fully take advantage of your bootcamp
2. been introduced to the Ironhack Miami community and team and
3. constructed an optimized mindset.

Climb Credit
Climb Credit offers low-interest loans to cover your tuition and living expenses. Enjoy fixed interest rates and low monthly payments while attending class and for three months after graduation, your loan payment will be interest-only, followed by full principal-and-interest payments. With no prepayment penalties, you can pay off your loan as quickly as you like.

In the course-web-dev-campus part-time course, you will study during on weekdays from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday, depending on the campus and cohort) and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This schedule may be subject to changes depending on the chosen campus.

Start your day energizedGet yourself a coffee to kick-start your day. We’ll begin by reviewing and discussing yesterday’s exercises.

Lecture block 1Following the initial review, the first block of lectures will begin. Time to learn something new! During the project weeks, you will practice daily standups by talking about your project.

Pair programming and project codingEvery week you will be briefed on a project that you will then develop in small groups. During these projects, you will focus on coding and applying the concepts you learned in the previous lectures.

LunchTime for a well-earned break! Ironhack is centrally located, so you’ll always find something interesting and delicious to eat.

Lecture block 2During afternoon lectures, you will build upon what you’ve learned with even more skills and techniques.

Individual projectWe will ask you to find an existing app that you want to improve, and you will apply the concepts learned during the lectures to do so. Then you will present your conclusions – an essential skill when developing projects and sharing them with others.

After-course eventsWhen the day has ended, immerse yourself in meetups, networking sessions and workshops, or stick around with your peers to catch up on classwork.

Daily lessons and standupWe will start off with a review of the previous day. This is a key part of the Kanban and Agile methodologies. Then the first block of lectures will begin: time to learn something new! Each lesson lasts approximately 50 minutes, and you will have a short break in between.

Pair programming and project codingImmerse yourself in this exercise or project with a classmate. Apply all of your newfound knowledge to the development of whatever might be thrown at you. Teachers and assistants will be on hand to help you every step of the way.

Daily lessons and standupAfter your daily standup, your second weekday will begin with two lectures. Each of these lasts about 50 minutes, and there will be a break in between them.

Code kata exercise and project codingPut your skills to the test on an individual project. This exercise will help you implement the theory you learned earlier. Teaching assistants will be available to guide you through the kata.

Daily standup and lecture block 1Saturday starts with your usual standup, followed by two 50-minute lectures with a break in between them.

Pair programming exerciseTeam up with a classmate to continue working on an exercise or project. Teachers and assistants will be on hand to help if needed.

LunchTime to eat, take a break and recharge your batteries! Our campuses are centrally located, so you’ll have no trouble finding excellent and diverse food options or bringing your own from home.

Lecture block 2 and more project codingOnce lunch is over, you’ll learn more theory through lectures conducted by your lead instructor.
